About the Artist

Biography

I’m a concept artist, storyteller, and curator specializing in character design, illustration, and animation.

In 2025, I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts with my B.A. in Communication Arts and my minor in African-American Studies. During my time in school, I was an executive board member for BASE at VCU — also known as Black Art Student Empowerment — where I was the co-curator for an annual exhibition titled Black Fidelity.

Currently based in Richmond, VA, I enjoy doing freelance work for clients, DJ-ing, roller skating, gardening, developing my YouTube channel, and using creative practices to give back to the community.

My Work

My work centers on the intersection between narrative and the human condition. I exude passion and use my work as a vehicle for emotional expression.

As such, my favorite subjects have always been people and the search for humanity in non-human things. I grew up watching animated works by Pixar, Cartoon Network, and Studio Ghibli, which greatly fueled my passion to draw from a young age. It brings me joy to see representations that feel authentic to myself, and this shows in much of my work.

With my initial experience in the traditional media of color pencil, charcoal, and pastels, I moved into digital as my primary medium as I began my university studies.
